HOW TO BUY

 

1. Your Account

You may browse the site and purchase without creating an account and signing in at each visit. There are, however, a number of benefits to doing so:

  • Fast checkout, recalling previous transaction details;
  • The contents of your SHOPPING CART can be saved for your next visit. Your SHOPPING CART is accessible from various computers, smart phones and tablets;
  • Current and previous orders can be reviewed, as well as returns and exchanges;

2. Browsing and Locating Product

Hovering over the COLLECTION, PERSONALIZATION and ESTORE links lead to product. Each of those links allows you to access product in the following ways:

  • The route through COLLECTION enables you to shop by collection series and view the full list of items in each collection;
  • The route through E-STORE lead directly to product;
  • The route through PERSONALIZATION allows you to customize the watch with your own signatures and/or greetings.

3. Add To Shopping Bag

Once you have selected your watch, click on the ADD TO CART button. At this stage, you can proceed to checkout or continue shopping.

You can preview your product selections at any time by clicking on the YOUR SHOPPING CART icon at the right upper corner of the website. Items can be deleted at any time by clicking REMOVE THIS ITEM icon or decrease the quantity number. In the chance that an item in your SHOPPING CART sells out as you continue shopping, your SHOPPING CART will automatically indicate that the item is no longer available.

4. Proceed to Checkout

Click the PROCEED TO CHECKOUT button when ready to finish shopping. Your SHOPPING CART will display a summary of the items you wish to purchase, with prices, plus relevant shipping fee calculated.

5. Payment

Select your payment method.

If you have a registered account, all your details will be stored with the highest confidentiality, and will enable a fast-track checkout. Depending on past payment transactions, you may need to enter some payment details again.

6. Shipping

Fill in the address where you wish to receive your order. Please note that for security, your first online order must be sent to your credit card billing address. For subsequent orders, you may choose to send your order or gift to another address.

Your order will be dispatched as soon as possible, subject to stock availability and quality checks.

When an order is placed online, an acknowledgement email will be sent with an indication of the estimated delivery time.

7. Save Your Details

Once you have completed the shopping process, you will be asked if you would like to save your details in your own account. This will ensure fast-track checkouts at future visits.

2. Payment Security

  • Our payment processes meet the most stringent international security standards set by the Payment Card Industry. We display the logos of Visa, Mastercard and China UnionPay as recognised marks of secure payment. The “Extended Validation” certificate is a guarantee of authenticity.
  • For credit-card security, we strongly advise that your first online order be delivered to your credit card billing address. For subsequent orders, you may choose to deliver to another address, such as in the case of gift delivery.


3. Website Security

To ensure your online journey and shopping experience is safe and secure, Richlux uses SSL technology. This encrypts and protects the data you send to us through the Internet. If SSL is enabled, then you will see a padlock at the top of your browser and you can click on this to find out information about the SSL digital certificate registration.

You will also notice that when you look at the location (URL) field at the top of the browser, you will see it begin with “https:” instead of the normal “http:”. This means that you are in secure mode.

RICHLUX is registered as an authentic site to ensure your information is kept private while in transit between your web browser and our web server.

 

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

 

All orders shipped are handled by FEDEX or SF EXPRESS with free e-mail tracking notification.
All orders received on a business day are usually processed and shipped within 1-5 days.
If the item is out of stock or back-ordered, you will be notified via E-Mail.

2. Tax & Duties

If you are shipping to the countries outside Hong Kong and Mainland China, you will see the price of your products and the shipping charges, but you will not see tax and duties’ charges, as we are unable to advise on the amount at the time of online purchase. As the recipient, you will be responsible for all import duties, customs and local sales’ taxes levied by the country you are shipping to. Payment of these charges is necessary to release your order from customs. Our courier, FEDEX or SF EXPRESS, will contact you locally with details of any import duty to pay.

3. Insurance

RICHLUX insures each order through transit up until it is delivered. All orders must be signed for at time of receipt, and in doing so, you accept the responsibility for the order from that moment on.

 

RETURNS POLICY

 

RICHLUX provides a 14 day period to return the watch in new and unused condition.
Purchases made from local stores must be returned to the original point of purchase.

If you are not completely happy with your watch, you must call us within 14 days to obtain a return authorization. Customers must contact our customer service at info@richlux.ch and return the watch to our watch repair centers.

If you purchased with a credit card, the original purchase amount, less shipping, will be credited to your credit card. If you purchased by check or money order, a refund check will be mailed to the billing address on your order.

Please return the watch in the original box with all original packing material, manuals, warranty cards and any other materials that came with the watch.

You are responsible for return shipping costs. For your protection, we recommend you insure your return shipment. We cannot be held responsible for items we do not receive.

To return a watch for credit, it must be in new condition. We cannot issue refunds for watches that show signs of use.
We cannot accept modified watches for credit. If links are added or removed from the bracelet we cannot accept the watch for return.

Exchanges after 14 days and worn watches are subject to our standard Warranty Policy. See Warranty Information in product instructions for details. Richlux reserves the right to qualify excessive use for damaged product.

 

REPAIR POLICY

 

If your RICHLUX timepiece should require service or repair, please follow the instructions below:

Contact us through our email info@richlux.ch and tell us what is wrong with your timepiece and you will be contacted back by someone from our technical department, if instructed mail your watch head only (do not ship the strap/bracelet unless it is in need of repair) through a trackable shipper, to the address below. We recommend that you insure your package for the original purchase value in case it is lost in transit. RICHLUX is not responsible for lost packages.

Do not send the original packaging received at the time of purchase along with your watch, as it cannot be returned.

Package the watch carefully, include a note that it is sent in for service or repair, enclose the necessary documents including a brief description on work required, your full shipping details along with phone number and send to your nearest repair centers.

Please NOTE: our standard repair turn-a-round is approximately 3 to 6 weeks.
